North Smithfield Elementary School educates all children in Kindergarten - Grade 4. We also offer a preschool program for children ages 3 & 4. At NSES, we are dedicated to ensuring all students needs are met, including academic and social/emotional. We do this by implementing high quality curricula through the ReadyGen Literacy and Eureka Math programs. It is a priority of ours to get to know each and every student. We do this by greeting each child by name at arrival, dismissal, or in the hallway and by hosting a "Getting to Know You Cafe" where students are able to have lunch with us. Our staff is a dedicated group of highly qualified educators, many of whom call North Smithfield their home. They go above and beyond to make sure every child is successful. Through data days, grade level meetings, and a whole child approach, our students are constantly monitored by a variety of professionals. We believe in fostering a strong relationship and partnership with our families. Every Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m., our families receive a Weekly Family Newsletter. In it, we include important information regarding upcoming events, opportunities for our students, and helpful hints. Our door is always open and we welcome the chance to get to know our school community.
